Returning with their 2nd mini album 'You & Me', Somin commented, "It was difficult to manage since we released the album after two weeks since wrapping up our world tour."
She also talked about the album's initial concept, saying, "KARD's concept is usually bright, however, we went for a more darker approach with this latest album. All four of us had a deep discussion about the drastic change. We're happy that the results turned out well despite the short time we had to prepare for the album."
BM mentioned, "We were really busy going back and forth preparing for our album and tour at the same time...It's funny how it felt like we had all the time in the world to think and prepare when we were trainees, but now that we made our official debut, I'm glad that we don't have much time to ponder about it."
J.seph opened up about the distinct choreography. "The choreography was very difficult this time. There were many unfamiliar gestures and there was no real break in-between so we had to dance throughout from start to finish. On top of that, we had to sing the song live so it was hard. It was hard in the beginning, but I'm used to it now," he smiled.
Jiwoo added, "Dancehall genre usually have similar expressions. Likewise, I became more acquainted with the dance style this time."
As for shooting the MV for title track "You In Me" the members focused on relationships pertaining to the opposite gender, as opposed to their previous image of brotherly/sisterly bonds. Somin shared, "As soon as the director heard the song, he said he wanted to go for that kind of feel." Jiwoo said, "I think fans enjoyed our unusual take this time, compared to our usual bright bond. But honestly, we all felt so awkward while shooting the MV, it was both embarrassing and awkward. We literally cracked up on set while trying to get into character."
As for their future endeavors for 2018, Jiwoo mentioned, "We hope to greet domestic fans more often," as Somin also agreed. B.M honestly relayed, "We want to hold a tour in Korea now." With that, J.seph said, "It's our dream to hold a solo concert as KARD. I think it's possible to go for it towards the end of next year."
