On December 7, JTBC's 'Golf Magazine' reported the 20-year-old Son Se-Eun is now qualified to be licensed as a pro golfer in July of 2018. The athlete herself also said, "The pro-golfing license I eagerly wanted. After the match, I hugged my dad, and we cried for a long time."
She continued, "I feel a little burdened because I'm known as Na-Eun's younger sister more than I am as a golf player. I want to become more famous than my sister and have people remember 'Son Se-Eun's older sister Son Na-Eun' rather than 'Son Na-Eun's younger sister Son Se-Eun.'"
Son Se-Eun is currently signed to YG Entertainment's sports division YG Sports and has been admitted into the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA). She's also been the endorsement model for sports brand Titleist since last year.
Congrats to Son Se-Eun and her family!
