On the November 30 broadcast of tvN's 'Life Bar', J.Y. Park shared thoughts on his artists dating.
The producer first opened up about his own experience and shared he was the first artist to confidently reveal his relationship status to the public. He explained such a confession negatively affected the text-in votes on music programs, but he still thought to himself, "Later on over time, I'll be accepted for my talent rather than popularity."
J.Y. Park answered, "Well, I don't think it's right for them to lie so they should just not date at all."
The MCs and guests burst into laughter, pointing out how his previous statement about getting accepted with talent over popularity contrasts his rule on dating. J.Y. Park refuted, "I'm saying this for them. Because it's hard! Really hard. I mean, do you want to keep losing text-in votes? You can't live like that."
