An SBS representative told news outlets on November 30, "Hyejeong is currently considering appearing in 'The Story of the Kind Witch' positively." If Hyejeong accepts the role, she will play a woman named Joo Ye Bin, a flight attendant. The drama also previously cast Lee Da Hye and Ryu Soo Young. 

'The Story of the Kind Witch' revolves around a kind mother of a family who ends up having to substitute in the role of her twin sister, nicknamed a 'witch'. It is set to air some time in early 2018.
