Wanna One Park Ji Hoon's label Maru Entertainment has updated an official notice regarding the status of their legal action against malicious commenters. 

"Hello. This is Maru Entertainment. First, we would like to send a word of thanks to fans who have waited patiently for a long time, and who continuously sent us evidence files.

We have confirmed severe, numerous accounts of defamation of an artist who is a minor after constantly monitoring online activity surrounding Park Ji Hoon, through various communities, SNS, and more, in the form of sexual harassment, malicious comments, and verbal abuse.

On October 24, 2017, we have submitted files sent in by fans as well as those obtained on our end to the the Seoul Central District Court on account of defamation of character, caused by slander, spreading of false information, etc. We intent to participate in all the necessary steps to impose strict legal consequences on those responsible for the writing and spread of such malicious content, with no exceptions or mediations. 

We will also increase our efforts to make sure that continued defamation of our artist Park Ji Hoon does not happen again through detailed monitoring and file gathering. We ask that you continue to send in evidence files of malicious content toward Park Ji Hoon, as well  as for your abundant love and support.
