BTS's 'Love Yourself - Her' has become the first album in 16 years to sell over 1,200,000 copies in the first month of release.
According to the Gaon's September album chart, BTS sold over 1,203,533 physical albums of 'Love Yourself - Her' within 13 days, since its release on September 16. It is the album with the highest sales of the month, but is much more than that - the numbers officially mark BTS as the first group since g.o.d's 4th album from back in November of 2001 to hit over 1,200,000 copies in album sales. g.o.d's 4th album 'Road' recorded a total of 1,441,209 copies sold in its release month.
