IU's surprise pre-release single, "Fall Morning", is topping all 8 major real-time music charts in Korea.
"Fall Morning" dropped unexpectedly on September 18 at 7AM KST, as hinted by her and her label at the midnight of her anniversary. The song was originally sung by Yang Hee Eun in 1991, and will be included in IU's upcoming remake album, 'Flower Bookmark Two'.
Even though the song was released outside of the normal data collection time of 12PM -6PM, as of September 19 at 9AM KST, IU's "Fall Morning" reigns at the top of 8 music charts including Naver, Melon, Mnet, Genie, Bugs, Soribada, Olleh Music, and Monkey3. Following right behind her at #2 is BTS's "DNA".
