'TRL' was a popular series on MTV where it would play the popular music videos. It ran for 10 years from 1998 to 2008 but is now being relaunched in just a few days on October 2. 

In its prime, the show was hosted by Carson Daly and would invite the most popular artists of the time on the show. The show used to be a great promotion tool in which artists could get their names out more to the general public as many kids and young adults would tune in daily after school. 

Since the news of restarting the program, BTS' fans have started to make the group known as they have been replying to 'TRL's official Twitter account. BTS recently followed MTV's official account and MTV is now following BTS.

I remember watching Britney Spears, Limp Bizkit, Eminem, and similar artists on TRL back in its prime so it will be pretty cool to see BTS on the show. Will BTS be invited to TRL's new Times Square studio in New York? While nothing has been confirmed yet, it will surely be interesting to see where this leads to.
