Fans' jaws drop at the price of the 'Cartier' bracelet SHINee's Jonghyun got Key for his birthday

On September 14, SHINee's Key took to his Instagram to show off an early birthday present he received from fellow member Jonghyun!


Key wrote, "The man who loves me and his gift for me <3 @jonghyun.948 My world!!!! Jonghyun hyung did it again!!!! #cartier," alongside a photo of a fancy-looking gift box from French jewelry brand 'Cartier' (also 'Société Cartier'). 




Seeing Key's post, fans must have gotten curious as to what the contents of the 'Cartier' box contained, and they did some research. And what did they find? What Key received from Jonghyun was a 'Juste un Clou' bracelet from 'Cartier' sold at 8,750,000 KRW in Korea. In USD, the bracelet is approximately $7,700!

Shortly afterward, the hashtag #Young&Rich began trending on Twitter in Korea with SNS users referring to Jonghyun's lavish gift in awe. Fans commented, "Jonghyun really seems like a big spender... He's definitely young & rich!! Young&rich was trending on Twitter; I wish he would release the 'Young & Rich' single TT", "It's SHINee we're talking about... They probably make loads; that price to him is probably like what $70 is to us commoners", "There's a rumor he bought the ring too as a set", "I'm envious... because they're rich...", and more.
