Pledis Entertainment is taking legal action for Seventeen.


On June 5, the agency shared a notice announcing their plans for legal action on their website. The announcement stated, "We have decided to proceed with legal action as we can no longer keep silent on false information, malicious posts, comments, and other acts defaming the character of Seventeen and its members."

Pledis Entertainment stated that they will do their best to protect Seventeen and emphasized they will continue to respond with strict legal action against the malicious acts from now on. 


Meanwhile, netizens have continuously criticized Seventeen for alleged rude behavior to fans at multiple events.
