Model Vivian, who's also well-known as the cousin of Girls' Generation's Yuri, responded to cosmetic surgery rumors on 'Video Star'.

On the April 18 airing, Vivian talked about the rumors surrounding her looks. She explained, "My jawline is kind of squared. If I underwent cosmetic surgery, why wouldn't I have fixed that?" She also wriggled her nose to prove that it is indeed natural and commented, "I did want to get a nose surgery, though."

Based on translation she didn't really denied that she had jaw surgery, it doesn't look that natural to me but who knows...

Her fingers shoved up her nose like that is disgusting.

MeniNova Tuesday, April 18, 2017

I thought models were supposed to be natural. I guess not in South Korea then.

Ti5258 Tuesday, April 18, 2017

lmaooo where'd you hear that from

Winston MeniNova Tuesday, April 18, 2017

Why would they expect them to be "natural" then fix their photos up with photoshop later?

why wouldn't you want to "fix your jawline"? because you shouldn't be so fucking concerned about what society perceives as beauty and please others by risking your own life and health. Yes, jaw shaving/reduction surgery is life-threatening. It's not even meant to be used for cosmetic purposes. It's a risky surgery in which 1 wrong move could kill your or leave permanent nerve damage (there are many people who commit suicide after because the pain is unbearable). Just because Koreans have gone plastic surgery crazy and there have been a certain amount of "successful" jawline surgeries, it doesn't make the surgery any safer. Also, the surgeon is literally shaving away at your jaw bone. Imagine how weak and fragile your jawline will be. One good punch and you're fucked up. No morally just surgeon/doctor would ever recommend jawline surgery unless you have a certain medical condition that requires it.

well its understandable since the society now is getting more n more superficial plus theyre working in the entertainment industry where looks are important... western entertainment doesnt care bout looks that much but in asia its really important... just look at kpop, if ure better looking ure gonna have a better life and be more popular even if ure totally talentless... in kpop its usually the visual that is more popular than the main vocal because they care so much bout looks... and if theyre not good looking enough theyre gonna get bashed alot on their visuals and this wil make their self esteem to drop and thus leading them to fix their face... and the one who got smth done is probably insecure bout themselves and if it could make them feel better and gain more confidence its not totally bad tho as long as they dont get addicted to it and fix their whole face or body... plastic surgery to me has its pros and cons so im kinda neutral bout it as long as they dont overdo it...
