
YouTuber Caracula, who was found guilty of colluding with a group of other YouTubers to threaten and extort money from mukbang star Tzuyang, has announced his return to activities.
On July 27 KST, Caracula uploaded on new video on his YouTube channel, newly named 'Caracula Animal Rescue'. The YouTuber stated, "I am greeting you in front of the camera again for the first time in approximately a year. First, I sincerely apologize my involvement in an incident which caused significant public shock. It was all due to my inadequacy."
He added on, "I have become an atrocious criminal and this fact cannot be overturned. There are no excuses which can rectify this fact, and so I will not make any. Instead of putting it into words, I will show you through my actions that I am deeply reflecting on my mistakes."
Caracula was previously sentenced to 3-years of probation after being found guilty of threatening mukbang star Tzuyang and extorting billions of Korean won in the star's earnings along with a group of other YouTubers.
