PRISTIN's Jieqiong (also known as Pinky) protested the 'fashion terrorist' nickname.
During an interview with Star News, she said, "I like all my nicknames, but I have to protest the 'fashion terrorist' nickname. I heard the nickname on radio and wanted to explain myself, but we didn't have time for me to answer. I wore my own clothes at an event, and I didn't have time, so I just put on whatever I saw."

She further explained, "Those items were okay if you wear them separately, but together they must have looked weird and I became a fashion terrorist after that. But to be honest, Jeon So Mi told me to wear it like that."
Fellow member Siyeon added, "She's definitely not a fashion terrorist. She's well known among the members to dress really well."
