BTS' 'You Never Walk Alone' took the number 1 overall album sales spot in February with a total of 713,063 sales and TWICE 'TWICEcoaster: Lane 2' coming in at 2nd place selling 266,645 copies. Trailing in at third place was Taeyeon's solo debut album titled 'My Voice- The 1st Album' with 109,275.

Looking at the graph above it seems album sales in February 2017 have jumped by 104% compared to the previous month, tallying up the top 400 albums. �February 2017 saw a�167% increase in album sales compared to February 2016.�Korean album sales in the first two months of 2017 also saw an increase of 116% compared to the same period last year (1,105,989 vs. 2,386,244).

The increase in album sales is thanks to all the popular artists who decided to make their comebacks in February. Especially with boy group BTS, girl group TWICE and Taeyeon's solo album sales exceeding 100,000 copies each. The year 2017 looks to be a promising one in terms of album sales.

Moving onto the Digital Sales Market Share by Distribution Companies�in February, examining the chart for the top 100 albums sold, KT Music increased by 8% compared to last year with a total share of 32.1%. CJ E&M dropped by 10.5% with a total amount of 27.8%. �Meanwhile, LOEN Entertainment decreased by 1.6% with the final percentage of 25.4%. Bugs Music also fell by 0.7% earning a total amount of 5.7%.

KT Music having the highest percentage thanks to high digital sales from�Zion.T's "The Song", Red Velvet's "Rookie", TWICE's "KNOCK KNOCK," as well as Akdong Musician's "Winter".

CJ E&M also saw an increase thanks to�BLOCK B's "Yesterday", 'Goblin' drama OST, and LOEN Entertainment was able to maintain steady sales with BTS "Spring Day", Mad Clown's "Lost Without You."

Looking at the Album Sales Market Share by Distribution Companies for February, LOEN Entertainment is in the lead with 55.3% and KT Music was second with 36.7% and CJ E&M was third at 5.8%.

The biggest contributor for LOEN Entertainment's huge market share for album sales is thanks to BTS' 'You Never Walk Alone'. Loen was also boosted by�SF9's 'First Mini Album BURNING SENSATION' and Cosmic Girls' 'From Cosmic Girls.'

As for KT Music, TWICE's 'TWICEcoaster: Lane 2', Taeyeon's 'My Voice-The 1st Album', and Red Velvet's 'Rookie- The 4th Mini Album' received much recognition while CJ E&M increased their sales with 'Goblin's OST album' and Lovelyz�2nd album 'R U Ready?'
