On March 16, Daehyun shared Ren's profile photo for 'Produce 101' season 2 on his Instagram and wrote an encouraging message. Daehyun said, "He's a really nice and cool friend. You guys probably already know :D I'm definitely definitely definitely cheering him on! Fighting! #NU'EST #Ren"
Currently, Ren is taking a break from NU'EST promotions to participate in the survival program.
