If you have been keeping up with Jay on Instagram, you would've noticed that he has been meeting up with people from ROC Nation - an American record label founded by Jay-Z that currently manages many famous artists such as Rihanna, Fat JoeFuture, DJ KhaledMeek Mill, ShakiraWale, and much more. This stirred up excitement about the possibility of Jay joining the label.

Jay Park also reportedly hinted at "something big that's about to happen" on a recent podcast while talking about what he has been doing during his U.S. visit. He revealed that he's in the States for business and that, "there's a huge company has hit me up."

Jay Park also worked with Remy Ma and ROC Nation's Fat Joe in the Asian remix of "All The Way Up."

In addition, his close peers, Dok2 and Ben Ballerreportedly stated, "Did you hear that Jay [Park] signed with ROC [Nation]?" during an Instagram live broadcast.

Is Jay getting ready to make his official U.S debut? Stay tuned for updates!

woah, i hope he's successful.

US market still don't give shine to Asian artists nomatter how skilled they are. Jin had mad respect but still flopped. MCs like Dumbfoundead been putting in work for ages but still still grinding for that higher stage. CL had as much swagger and presence as Jay, shared stages with big hitters and still only got minor recognition with alot of it still being k-pop "niche" ties... Or the gimmicks to the western eye like Psy.... wish the boy all the success, but its a hard nut to crack (undercover prejudice).

Buh why don't dey gv a chance to Asians ? Asians r cute

Cause Difference Scares Them

LuckyMe no_tofu_speed Friday, March 3, 2017

I don't know who jin is but as for dumbfounded its hard to break into the american rap game period, especially for someone that has his style aka laid back, rapping abt real topics etc. As for CL she isnt even u.s. style. I dont know people claim that she is bc she really isnt. She comes off as a try hard and she didn't chose the right music as her singles in the first place, if she chose the right kind they maybe she would have a chance but lifted was wack. But Jay...... jay knows American music style and trends very well as he is american, he follows the music and he produces american sytle music in korean all the time. He uses american slang in his music and everything comes off as natural, nothing seems gimmickey. If he signs under roc nation thats already a huge step forward as he already has a great chance at succeeding just by being under their wings.

Jin destroyed all on BET's Freestyle Friday... which got him mad exposure and respect, then signed to Ruff Ryders and still went nowhere....

Elskli16 no_tofu_speed Sunday, March 5, 2017

I think Jay will succeed though... The other artists you mentioned, even CL just doesn't have what it takes to make it far in the US, but Jay has something special. I can see the US loving his music and looks.

Sorry but how

YoUrAvErAgEVIP blackpinkismine Monday, March 6, 2017

Lol I dont need to. :D Look it up

no_tofu_speed Monday, March 6, 2017

Like.. no misunderstanding.. Jay is a cool mofo and wish him the best,... seen him around, he seems down to earth and real... my statement was more saying, nomatter how skilled you are and how much backing you have recordlabel wise, the US audiences seem to not give a fuck bout Asians (Asian-American or from overseas).

DZico Thursday, March 2, 2017

why does rihanna work with beyonce husband , I thought they hate each other

tater DZico Thursday, March 2, 2017

They don't hate each other. That rumor stemmed from another rumor started by a stylist years ago. Beyoncé and Rihanna have been caught on camera at events talking, hugging, and even blowing kisses at each other from across the room. They even praise each other. I think it's just that media (and some fans) like to pit successful women against each other.

bedshits Thursday, March 2, 2017

Great proud of Jay because this is big step in his career and getting his name out there! Lots of awesome artists on that label except meek mill like f*ck meek mill weak ass noodle head all he does is take L's

RayAlkay Thursday, March 2, 2017

i hope he wont sign cause i really like the aomg fam i hope its a collaboration

Johncane RayAlkay Thursday, March 2, 2017

lool most likely a sign

linnikpop RayAlkay Thursday, March 2, 2017

You can be in two labels at the same time, soooo many kpop groups and solo artists are in two or more, one for Korea, another one for maybe Japan or China? :)

RayAlkay linnikpop Thursday, March 2, 2017

yeah but im not a fan of american labels lets just say not the best reputation a collab would be better tho

karebearsays RayAlkay Thursday, March 2, 2017

May not have the best reputation, but definitely got a whole lot of fame. Hopefully they can do the same for Jay Park.

Johncane RayAlkay Thursday, March 2, 2017

tbh there is no difference, its all the same.

RayAlkay karebearsays Thursday, March 2, 2017

he can get the fame from collaborations not signing with a label

Im_you_pantseu RayAlkay Thursday, March 2, 2017

and korean companies are better were these is no artistic freedom or actual creativity

RayAlkay Im_you_pantseu Thursday, March 2, 2017

yeah especially since jay is a co-ceo with simon so he literally aint got no one to limit his freedom and creativity

karebearsays RayAlkay Friday, March 3, 2017

A lot of K-Artists have collabs with American artists (popular or not), and very rarely do they get popular. If he's signed under a popular label, then he'll have more connections and better chances at international popularity. (He'll even have chances at better collaborations, with really popular artists as well.) So whether he joins this label or not, please keep supporting him wholeheartedly.

RayAlkay karebearsays Saturday, March 4, 2017

i know but its different this time jay is actually american and his chances with success are higher especially since americans prefer jay's music and dont worry ill support him all the way been a jay walker since 2013 i support anything he does but i was just expressing y opinion
