IU sings 'Through the Night' with her beautiful voice in new MV teaser!

IU has dropped an MV teaser for her 1st pre-release, "Through the Night"!

The song (literally translated, "Night Letter") is set for 6PM KST on March 24, ahead of her comeback with her 4th full album this April. The teaser shows her enjoying the sunlight, a stark contrast from her song title, with a bit of the song preview in the clip as well.

What's the appeal of this type of music? I can kiiinda understand it for Koreans who can understand the lyrics, but tbh not really. So seriously, why is this good? I normally listen to music based on beat, or lyrics or rhythmic phonetics of rap, interesting instrumentals. Anything but this soft vocal wank Koreans are all about. I just dont get it. Someone educate me.

Some people just like something relaxing to listen to or something that doesn't sound like club music. She has a nice singing voice and she likes to experiment with different genres off music with her albums though just not the genres that it sounds like you are into. Think of it this way someone can like heavy metal or gangsta rap, but that doesn't mean they can't enjoy Sinatra. Some people like particular musical genres and not much else and some people like lots of different things or dislike a particular genre. I'm not Korean and I enjoy her work. That said, its not something you usually listen to get pumped at the gym rather its something to listen to when I am relaxing at home reading a book or out driving around and not in a huge hurry to get someplace.

when i first listen to the beat and then she hums then sing a line i knew from the start that this will be in my list.. i always support IU because all of her song are really great and no one can deny it.
