The 1st episode of the new competition program finally aired on February 10. On this day, the tryouts at the districts of Gangdong and Gyeongin were broadcasted with MCs Jung Jun Ha and HaHa joined by the mentors- Deepflow, Mad Clown, Swings, Yang Dong Geun, Jessi, Giriboy, and Xit Suh (Seo Chul Goo).
The competition fired up as many talented high schoolers brought out their impressive skills. Out of all contestants, Kim Sun Woo and Bang Jae Min from Hanlim Multi Art School garnered attention with their outstanding visuals and once again impressed with their rapping skills.
Cho Min Wook from Sangmun High School overcame low expectations and surprised all with his powerful rap.
Another competitor who brought a big surprise was Kim Hae Joong, who clarified that she's a girl, not a boy, and rapped about the stress of being a student.
Kim Gu Ra's son and rapper MC GREE also made an appearance and fought back at the criticism targeting his 'golden spoon' advantage.
The high schooler who gained the greatest attention and compliments was Jang Yong Joon from Saint Paul Preparatory. After watching his performance, Swings even asked if he is currently under a label and made jaws drop as he requested to chat with him in person.
