It has been twelve years since the tragic passing of late actress Lee Eun Joo.  February 22, 2005 was truly a devastating moment for many when it was announced that Lee Eun Joo had committed suicide.  After graduating college just four days prior, the actress had a very bright future ahead.  It is still a mystery as to why the charming 25-year old took her own life leaving behind family, friends, and fans alike.

Born in 1980, Lee Eun Joo made her debut in 1997 and starred in a total of nine films such as 'Bungee Jumping On Their Own' and dramas 'KAIST' and 'Fire Bird.'  With her calm voice and sophisticated appearance, the actress was able to captivate viewers both on the big screen and small screen alike.  

Twelve years ago, the entire entertainment industry was shaken up by the sudden news of Lee Eun Joo's death with numerous stars attending her funeral shortly after.  It was a day to reflect on just what had gone awry for the young actress to make such a devastating decision.  

Namoo Actors president Kim Jong Do recently shared a photo of himself with the late actress in remembrance through Instagram.

Lee Eun Joo was an actress who had so much potential and such a precious gem was gone too soon.  She will always be known as a beautiful actress in the hearts of many fans and fellow entertainers.
