Former Rainbow member Hyunyoung will be transitioning into an actress under a new label.
On January 24, a representative from Mama Creative revealed, "We've signed a contract with Hyunyoung this month. She plans to pursue her career in acting but not immediately. She desires perfection so she'll not be rushing her comeback. There's also no reason for her to not continue her singing career. We're thinking about a project album and more."

Back in November of 2016, Hyunyoung left girl group Rainbow and DSP Media.
