Tom Cruise picks up Lee Young Ja just as he did 22 years ago!

Tom Cruise made a special appearance on tvN's 'Taxi' and impressed many people by re-enacting a scene from 22 years ago where he lifted up comedian Lee Young Ja!


On November 15, Tom Cruise visited 'Taxi' to promote his new movie, 'Jack Reacher: Never Go Back.' His appearance on the show was extra meaningful because back in 1994 when the actor visited Korea for the very first time, he had met Lee Young Ja on a KBS variety show and even lifted her, surprising everyone.

When asked if he remembers Lee Young Ja from over two decades ago, Tom Cruise said, "Yes, I remember." The MCs showed him the clip from 1994, and Tom Cruise seemed to be extremely amused. He said that Lee Young Ja was, "light like a feather." 


He even re-enacted the scene with Lee Young Ja towards the end of the show, surprising everyone!
