Yoo Seung Joon will be filing an appeal against the upkeeping of his ban.
He is currently blacklisted from ever entering the country after evading military service by getting a citizenship in the United States on the sly, and has been trying to fight it as of late. On September 30, the Seoul administrative court upheld Yoo Seung Joon's entry ban into South Korea. The court stated that they can't allow entry because if they did, it would demoralize the soldiers currently serving and set a precedent for teenagers to avoid conscription.
After consideration, Yoo Seung Joon and his attorney decided to submit an appeal against the decision. Yoo Seung Joon argued that out of the 17,229 that evaded military service in the last 5 years, it was unfair to keep only Yoo Seung Joon out of the country, especially for 15 years.
