On October 4, Girls' Generation's Sooyoung attended SHINee's showcase for their new album '1 of 1' as the MC. During the talk about the new release, Sooyoung had nothing but great compliments for the junior group.
Sooyoung said, "I always watch SHINee's performance at SMTOWN concerts. Our members always say that SHINee dance as if it's their last performance." Minho then commented, "The phrase that Key says the most is, 'Let's do our best as if today's our last'."

To this, Sooyoung once again commented, "We [Girls' Generation] are envious even though we have debuted earlier. We envy their passion and energy."
