Sunhwa to officially leave SECRET + SECRET to continue a 3-member group

It looks like the rumors were true as Sunhwa will be leaving SECRET.

TS Entertainment released a statement on the 26th stating,

Hello, this is TS Entertainment.

Sunhwa, who has been active as a member of SECRET and as an actress for the past 7 years, will be ending her promotions as SECRET on October 13th. She will be ending her contract with our label as well.

SECRET will continue as a 3 member group with Hyosung, Ji Eun, and Hana, who have renewed their contracts, and we are plannig to continue as usual by supporting their individual activities as well.

We thank you for the warm support you have showed SECRET, and we ask that you continue to support and show interest to SECRET and Sunhwa.

Thank you.

Sunhwa will be focusing on activities as an actress from October 13th onward, but there is no information about which label she will be joining.

There is another girl group whom have lately been doing more acting than singing. When that happens it worries me, that the members may end up falling in love with acting (not to mention the $$ is better) and decide to switch careers instead. That group is Girls Day. Hyeri has been receiving much love from her recent dramas, Minah. Yura and Sojin all have also ventured into acting. While Minah's solo album has not been very successful. DreamTea has not given Girls Day a comeback lately, while focusing on their boy group, MAP6.
