The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency informed OSEN on August 4 that for�Yoochun's case, the police has requested arrest warrants for the first woman he allegedly sexually assaulted, along with the woman's boyfriend and cousin, for charges of false accusations and blackmail.�

Police stated, "We have requested arrests warrants after taking into account the seriousness of claiming false charges and blackmail as well as the possibility that [the defendants] colluded to have their testimonies�coincide," adding that they "won't know whether the defendants will be charged until later that afternoon."�

Yoochun claimed that the woman, her boyfriend, and her cousin, who is said to be affiliated with a gang, used the sexual assualt suit as pretext to demand 500 million KRW (~$448,895 USD), and countersued them for false charges and blackmail.�

Police confirmed that after the woman filed a lawsuit, around 100 million KRW (~$89,828 USD) was exchanged between her and Yoochun's party.�

Once the final decision is made on the arrest warrants submitted by Yoochun, police plan to take their hands off the case and forward it to prosecution.�
