As with many YG Entertainment artists before them, Black Pink will be promoting only on SBS' 'Inkigayo'.

Even though the girls have been slaying both domestic and international charts, the girls will not be appearing on 'Music Bank', 'Show! Music Core', 'M! Countdown', or other music shows according to Segye Ilbo.

This isn't really surprising, as many YG artists before Black Pink performed almost exclusively to SBS' 'Inkigayo', with only a few exceptions. Some artists had appeared on 'M! Countdown' frequently, but it seems like Black Pink will not be even doing that.

What do you think of YG's decision to showcase Black Pink only once a week?

in my opinion it will be advantage to them, blackpink popularity was high in Korea and international. so why promoting to other music shows? it will be less cost if they will promote 1 music shows. hehehe just saying. Good Luck Blackpink

basically the other shows wont give YG unfair advantages over the competition.  this is how YG operates and its extremely lame.  he's been blackmailing shows for special stages and privileges for YG performers over the other competition for a long time now.  its funny how the YG stans will pretend its the shows fault for giving lame stages, when ALL of the others are using those lame stages.  NEVER trust a YG stan, nobody lies or distorts things more than they do.  YG thinks their above the other agencies, and in a way they USED to be, but you can't give away with that BS much longer now that YG's rep isnt what it used to be.  YG's threat to ban their artists from shows has much less of a threat these days.

In my opinion this would give more opportunities to other groups, so I'm ok.

I don't think about YG's decisions anymore it's not like he ever does things normally. I'm tired of being mad about everything.

first of all, I'm going to put it out there that it isn't yg's fault that black pink is promoting solely on inkigayo. inkigayo provides the most freedom on stage, whether it be with content or suggestiveness. he first tried to get the girls on mbc & when they rejected boombaya bc of some of the lyrics, he changed the lyrics and tried to re-approval. maybe having one trustable broadcast is not a bad thing

they stages have been really boring so far, wish YG let them appear on more music programs, they are rookies, they need experience....

That's too bad, can't get enough of their live performances.

I'm actually really disappointed in that decision! Why not show a group that can slay visually and vocally?!
