Netizen claims scenes from Wanna.B and MAMAMOO MVs are too similar to be coincidence

Wanna.B is under fire from netizens for copying scenes from MAMAMOO's "Um Oh Ah Yeah" for their recently released "Why" MV.

One netizen made side-by-side comparisons of select scenes from the two MVs, pointing out the apparent similarities. The netizen wrote, "In the beginning of the MVs, the floor tile patterns are the same and so are the props. Same with the beds...and even how they stare at the flight attendant. And how they're on an airplane. Drinking something and then fainting? That's also the same. And then taking the person to the hospital to wake them lolol. At this point, you're just lost for words..the props are the similar as well..am I the only one who feels this way? Just so you know, MAMAMOO's MV came out first!"

It appears that a majority of the commenters agree with the OP as there are no down votes and the top comments read, "Wow, just looking at the pictures, they really are similar?? Can you tell me the titles to the MVs?" "I only saw MAMAMOO's MV but looking at the screen shots they're totally the same," "The very top pictures are similar and seem to be taken at the same location but I don't know about the ones at the bottom. They are similar though," and more.

Even if they were filmed in the same location, they did the same actions. The "male" walks through, the stewardess made a mistake and there was a "man" enjoying the view, they're operating on the dude, and they're dancing in the last pic set. They could be doing sifferent things, but theyre doing similar, almost exact, things.

Obviously filmed in the same location, so some things can be forgiven there, but the plane scene, hospital bed, and other plot similarities? Nah. There's just having similar concepts, and then there's this. Their director obviously took some "inspiration" from Mamamoo, which isn't the girl's fault really, but they're the ones that'll get the heat. Very unfortunate group name, given the circumstances. The MV's comment section is already a warzone lol

Yup, the same settings! Regarding the plot, though, I have no idea as I haven't seen Wanna.B's music video. And their name… it's almost as if they want people to misuse it 😂
