CL's father says he respected CL's choice to drop out of high school

Professor Lee Ki Jin of Sogang University, also the father of 2NE1's CL, opened up about having a top celebrity daughter during an interview with Chosun Ilbo.�

To the questions regarding his idol star daughter, Lee Ki Jin stated that he is rather jealous of her than he is worried. He also talked about CL's strong passion for her dreams as he said, "CL fell in love with dancing when she started learning jazz dance for fun in 6th grade. Then starting in 8th grade, she went to a practice room in Hongdae everyday and recorded herself dancing to the�choreography�she made."

He continued, "I didn't stop Chaelin when she went under YG�Entertainment�and declared she would drop out of high school. Being able to find something you love and are good at when you are only in your teens is very lucky. I thought that if she can't debut, then she can just open a clothing store."�

It seems like CL was able to achieve her dreams with the love and support from her cool father!
