On 'Baek Ki Sung's Be Strong 2 O'Clock' on July 29, singer Baek Ah Yeon talked about her hit song "Shouldn't Have...".

When asked if she'd been contacted by the guy the song was about, she said, "He did contact me. He asked me, 'You said you put your experiences in your song's lyrics, so was the story about me by any chance?' After worrying like, 'Is this person asking me when he already knows?' or 'Is he feeling me out?' I told him honestly it was about him."
Baek Ki Sang comforted her with, "I think he'd be happy because a girl he dated in the past wrote a song about him."
To this, Baek Ah Yeon said, "From what I know, he went around telling people that [the song] is about him."
