Lee Sung Kyung in talks to play a pro weightlifter in new drama

Actress Lee Sung Kyung is busy, busy, busy these days! 

MBC revealed that they were considering casting her as the female lead in a new Wednesday-Thursday drama entitled 'Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Ju.'  A rep stated on June 30, "It is true that Lee Sung Kyung is a candidate for the female lead.  We're still in the casting stage.  Nothing's been decided."

YG Entertainment likewise said on this day, "Lee Sung Kyung is positively reviewing her appearance in 'Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Ju.'"

The drama will be a romantic comedy centered on pro weightlifter Kim Bok Ju and her first love.  It'll be written by Yang Hee Seung of 'High School King' and 'Oh My Ghost.'  It will likely air after 'W' in November.
