Big Bang took on a documentary concept for Chinese 'Nongfu Spring' CF!

The water brand CF captured Big Bang's innermost thoughts as they talked about music, careers, the group, and more. G-Dragon started with, "I think about how I could make good music, and write good songs. The most important thing is to have my own unique color different from others. I dedicate the most effort and time into creating my own unique style."

T.O.P then revealed his worries about how to present a unique performance on stage. Taeyang also talked about the hard effort that Big Bang puts off-stage for their fans. Daesung talked about the struggles he faced from his parent's opposition to his dreams, while Seungri shared his thoughts about people's dreams, and gave words of encouragement to anyone tuning in.

Stop trying to be popular bitch

Comments like yours just show how much of a byproduct you are of our corrupt and toxic society. You'd rather judge a group on their appearance or rumors than to consider the quality of the music they put out or their passion. But if you need to call GD ugly or Seungri a sex addict to validate yourself or your existence, then go ahead because I guess that is what people have come to now. You stoop so low you can't tell your direction of self.

VIP_Hana Friday, June 10, 2016

I miss them so much everyone has now their comeback ..-.-..

YouKnowIKnow Friday, June 10, 2016

GD, you know you make mainstream music right? its not 'unique'.

InZommBerZ YouKnowIKnow Friday, June 10, 2016

oh, honey.... lol

bigbangisVIPOT5 YouKnowIKnow Friday, June 10, 2016

haha biggest joke ever

L_catzzz YouKnowIKnow Friday, June 10, 2016

Yup he did. He make it to be mainstream. Can't help it if everyone else starts to go for the same style as them.

YouKnowIKnow L_catzzz Friday, June 10, 2016

can you give me a bigbang song thats unique. I want to listen. and you guys could prove me wrong.

BangtanGirlScout YouKnowIKnow Friday, June 10, 2016

Just because something is mainstream doesn't make it unique. BigBang has built their success for ten years and the fact that their songs can reach so many people internationally is a testament that their lyricism is not only unique, but also heartfelt, and raw and their own. Popularity is not indicative of uniqueness. Quite the contrary, the fact that their music style is so individual is what attracts so many listeners.

YouKnowIKnow BangtanGirlScout Friday, June 10, 2016

So he makes unique mainstreams. I see, Anyway, quoting gd, "The most important thing is to have my own unique color different from others.". This is his definition of 'unique', I hope I can hear his work that's different from others someday. Something as good as 'That XX'. LMAO, I watched the vid(That xx) again and I saw his other song called 'who you', and In my opinion the mv is straight outta JZ's picasso baby.

InZommBerZ YouKnowIKnow Friday, June 10, 2016

To name a few off the top of my head that are NOT KOREAN MAINSTREAM, and so, infact, are UNIQUE to KOREAN MUSIC INDUSTRY : Bae Bae , Cafe , Hallelujah , How Gee , Oh My Friend , Tonight , Good Boy , Coup d'Etat , Strong Baby , Ringa Linga , Fantastic Baby, Bang Bang Bang...... Those songs I listed above are not mainstream music in SK, but once BB released them, they became the mainstream songs.

YouKnowIKnow InZommBerZ Friday, June 10, 2016

So we are talking bout korean music now, not the whole music industry. If that is your take then, I guess I'm wrong. They did good in 'intruducing' these types of genres to kpop actually. But could you really call it unique?

BangtanGirlScout YouKnowIKnow Friday, June 10, 2016

You know how many other artists get inspiration from Western music? GD didn't copy Jay-Z's lyrics or MV concept from frame to frame. You can sit here all you want and try to paint him over as a fraud or unoriginal but just remember, music and ideas are meant to be shared and everyone has their own rendition of stylistic content. I'm sure Jay-Z was inspired by someone else before he came up with his own style and so on.

InZommBerZ YouKnowIKnow Friday, June 10, 2016

We're always talking about Korean Music, though I didn't know you meant something else. When critics or music experts praised BB for unique or non-mainstream songs, they always referred to Korean Music Industry.

anothergalaxy YouKnowIKnow Friday, June 10, 2016

When GD states he wants to create his own "style", he generally means create his own path and not follow the typical KPOP trend that is common for companies to push onto their groups. Here's a list of songs by GD or Big Bang to help you understand BB's style: "Crooked" by GD - While the style of the song is upbeat, it contrasts with the feeling of heartbreak that the lyrics describe. The clash of different emotions derived from the style and story run parallel with the rock tones. "Niliria" by GD ft. Missy Elliot - This collaboration mixes American Hip-Hop (Missy Elliot) with traditional Korean music (GD) to demonstrate the mixture of culture between the two artists. "Knock-Out" by GD&TOP - You could literally listen to the entire GD&TOP album to get a taste of individualism. At the time of release, and even today with their recent single release, they completely created their own style that somehow fits the two's different personalities perfectly. "Look At Me, Gwisun" by Daesung - This is a Trot song which is usually mainly enjoyed by the much MUCH older generation. Its generally considered too cheesy for mainstream KPOP but it is one of GD's passions since he loves it so much. Match his composition with Daesung's beautiful voice and kind smile and, together, they stole all the hearts of Korea's grandmothers. "Bae Bae" by BB - Kpop if it was on drugs. I could list the specific reasons this song is unique but I think the former description generally sums it up best. "Cafe" by BB - The real reason BB takes so long between albums is because GD's vocal chords are surely broken after he sings this song live. more but I don't want to write validation for every song they've ever created since its a never ending list :P If you still don't agree and need more, remember that songs like "Fantastic Baby" or "Eyes, Nose, Lips" become so-said "classics" because they break boundaries at the time of release. You may not understand it now, but they changed the music scene and created new trends in Kpop for their classics. Some of BB's most famous, so-said "immortal" songs are: "Haru Haru", "Fantastic Baby", "Eyes, Nose, Lips", "Heartbreaker", "Strong Baby", "If You" and so on...

when you listen to the first beat, you can tell 'this is bigbang song' or 'this is gd song'.. so, that is his 'uniqueness'..thats why other group often get accused of copying bigbang..people will say 'ah this is so bigbang'... because he make his uniqueness to become mainstream...that is gd the leader of bigbang.

YouKnowIKnow anothergalaxy Saturday, June 11, 2016

"When GD states he wants to create his own "style", he generally means create his own path and not follow the typical KPOP trend that is common for companies to push onto their groups." with this said, im out. Guess I was wrong the whole time. Maybe I interpreted his answer the wrong way. And just for your info OutKast - Hey ya is upbeat but has sad lyrics too. Niliria is Hiphop which he only added korean traditional beat which i think didnt suit the song. and oh my god, you just didnt say bae bae... I dont need to say more. Lets just agree to disagree and move on with our lives. I still believe that they just greatly introduced western music to korea and I dont find that unique. peace.

KpopRox94 YouKnowIKnow Sunday, June 12, 2016

They blended idol and mainstream music together, that is what made them unique.

shannnnt Friday, June 10, 2016

alex_grey Friday, June 10, 2016

not many comeback or album since debut but every time comeback is huge success and broke record (always broke their own record because no other record as huge as them) can stand on their own alone because every member make a very successfull solo...hv leader who write all of your songs in album..produce your album since debute...hv vocalist in group that win best male vocal (no other group have that) hv visual member that is well known as top 3 visual in idol group and great rapper..hv member who are angel like in terms of voice and personality..hv maknae who are king of maknae in idol group..that is need to surpass this wall and make sure all your self-write and self-composed song are sucess and popular..not just self-write songs because of trends but nobody knows about your song at all..
