Jessica talks about working on her music in secret

In an interview with Tenasia released on May 19, Jessica talked about the process of creating her first solo album, 'With Love, J'!

She first said, "I prepared for the album for almost a year.  I did it as quietly as possible, but the rumors spread quickly.  I prepared for it for a long time.  I went to many different places like Korea, of course, and New York and Tokyo.  There were a lot of fans who were thinking, 'Oh she's going there to hang out again,' and I wanted to say to them, 'I'm actually going there to work on music, okay?'"

She laughed then continued, "I was happiest when I was recording in the recording studio.  It's charming.  When I'm in the recording booth, my voice and the sound coming from my body can be heard well.  I liked it since I was a trainee.  When I was in my previous company, my color and my opinions were not well reflected.  This time, this is entirely my album.  It has a lot of my color in it."
