Baby J (Jooyeon) had to do part-time work after leaving Jewelry?

Former rapper of Jewelry, Baby J (Jooyeon), made her appearance on 'Show Me the Money 5'!

The first episode aired on May 13, where she sat down with the production crew and answered questions.  She relayed that it's been two years since she's been before the camera.  She said, "After debuting [in Jewelry], the songs were popular, weren't they? Then Seo In Young and Park Jung Ah left, and the group disbanded."

Since its disbandment, she relayed what she's been up to, confessing she's had a hard time: "I wasn't making money, so I even did part-time work.  I even worked at a pizza place and clothing store.  Seeing my friends promoting while I was home made me teary.I cried by myself a lot.  It seemed to me like I was gradually getting lower.."

Baby J said regarding why she came out on the show, "Because I have no agency and even if I were to personally contact them, they wouldn't help me because it's not their business.  For this, it would just be me.  I'd just have to do it alone."

Her father, actor Ha Jae Young, appeared on the show to give his daughter support, as well.  He said, "She was on a long break.  She said she was going to start anew, so I worried a lot.  But she said she was going to do it, and there's no parent who can win over the child, right?"

However, on this day, she lost in the first round of preliminaries because she had been too nervous.  She said afterwards, "What do I do.  I don't think I can even go home. I had prepared a lot, but I had been unable to show that.  Why did I get myself dropped," and cried.  It was still brave of you to challenge yourself!  This is just the start, so don't feel too down!
