Though taking home their first ever win in October of last year on MBC's 'Show Champion' was a happy occasion for BTOB, there is one thing that has been nagging at the members. And that's the fact that Sungjae was unable to stand on stage with the rest of the group due to his drama filming.
Ilhoon expressed the regret he felt about Sungjae's absence during their first win in an interview with Star News on March 28, saying, "When we won our first place on a music program for the first time since debuting, Sungjae wasn't there. It's still regretful that all the members couldn't be there." Hyunsik added, "It's our goal to win first place when all the members are present," when asked if they had any specific goals for the album.

Meanwhile, Eunkwang said, "We originally didn't have any ambitions for first place, but fans were so happy [about our win] that we got to thinking that we should win more often. We want to gift Melodies with the gift of joy." How sweet is that?
