Kyuhyun turned heads with a story of his ex-girlfriend on the December 28 episode of SBS's 'Healing Camp,' revealing that he was quite the thoughtful romantic.

On this episode, one audience member spilled her worries on the inability to express feelings and affections toward her boyfriend due to her naturally stoic nature. She added that unlike her, her boyfriend is more expressive and has a lot of aegyo.
Kyuhyun told the girl, "When I was in a relationship with my ex-girlfriend, I told her often that I loved her. But even at the words 'I love you,' she was numb," and added, "When I saw that she was unmoved, although in my mind I loved her a lot, I felt the need to spare those words precisely because I loved her so much."
