Composer and producer Shinsadong Tiger�revealed that the song that launched EXID into stardom, "Up & Down", was actually originally meant for rapper Jessi.
At the '2015 Asia Song Festival' on October 10th, Shinsadong Tiger was asked about EXID's hit song "Up & Down", which he composed. He shared, "To be honest, the title of 'Up & Down' was 'we are at'. I was playing with words and 'Up & Down' came about."
The producer added, "It was originally a solo track for Jessi. However, Jessi's vocal and the song's tone didn't fit, so I ended up giving it to EXID."
