YG's rookie group, iKON, held their first Japanese fan meet tour, 'iKON Fan Meeting 2015 In Japan iKONTACT,' which kicked off this past October 10 in Tokyo. Seventeen days later the tour concluded successfully on October 27 at Zepp music hall. The tour, which encompassed a total of 12 fan meet sessions in Fukuoka, Osaka, and more, mobilized more than 26,600 fans. The tour served as solid proof of the group's popularity in Japan, which shot through the roof even before their official Japanese debut in January!

The highlight of the fan meet was iKON's memorable, powerful stage, during which the members performed "Welcome Back," "Today," and the Japanese versions of "Airplane," "My Type," and "Rhythm Ta." To all the adoring local fans who passionately cheered them on, iKON relayed, "Thank you for being so welcoming and enjoying our show. We had a good time. Next January, we will return with more music you can enjoy so please wait for us."
iKON, who just finalized their Japanese fan meet tour, revealed the Japanese versions of "My Type," "Airplane," and "Rhythm Ta" via various online music sites on October 28. Furthermore, the group will drop their Japanese debut album come January, and will kick off their first Japanese arena tour, 'iKON Japan Tour 2016.'
