Earlier reports said that H.O.T's Kangta would finally make his solo comeback after a 8-year hiatus, and SM Entertainment has responded to the news.
A representative from the agency stated, "Kangta has been steadily working on new music, but the release date has not been been set yet."
They added, "The filming for his Chinese drama is planned to start at the end of this year, so for the time being, he will be focusing on filming."

Okay, so it's not guaranteed that his solo album will be dropped in January, but let's keep our fingers crossed that it will be released soon!
