Broken Valentine wrote on their SNS accounts on August 3, "We have come to report some sudden and heart breaking news. Broken Valentine's vocal Van (Kim Kyung Min) who has been with us for 13 years has abruptly and unexpectedly left our sides from an accident. The coffin will be placed in the second funeral hall room in 'Dongsuwon Hospital' and the funeral procession will be on August 5."
It's said the cause of his death was due to drowning. "He died from drowning. He went to go play in the waters with his friends, and unexpectedly met his death due to an accident," his reps also revealed.
The alternative rock band formed in 2002 and changed their name to the current name, Broken Valentine in 2007. They had gained a lot of fans after their appearance on the show 'Top Band Season 1' in 2007.
