Although it's already been revealed that Wonder Girls would promote as a quartet with Sunmi, Yubin, Lim, and Yenny, many still held hope that Sohee and Sun would promote with the girls at some later date. Those hopes have now fizzled as earlier today, the dreaded news was finally announced.
In a brief statement to the press, JYP Entertainment wrote, "Sunye and Sohee, both active as Wonder Girls members, have withdrawn from the team. Wonder Girls will accordingly promote as a four member group with Yeeun, Yubin, Sunmi, Hyelim." JYP explained that Sun terminated her contract to devote her time to her family. Sohee on the other hand, has not been under contract with JYP for some time, she withdrew from the group to focus on her individual pursuits.
Despite their withdrawal, both girls are very supportive of the Wonder Girls comeback preparations. They plan to continue to support their good friends. Both Sun and Sohee also wrote heartfelt messages to their fans never forgetting to thank them for all the years of love.
