Hype for the next instalment of the 'Reply' series, 'Reply 1988' has been very high ever since the drama was first announced. Each casting decision made headlines and soared to the top of search rankings. And now finally the drama is coming underway as the cast has had their first script reading!
tvN's representative told OSEN, "Today (July 8) the actors in 'Reply 1988' all got together and held a script reading. The first broadcast date has yet to be decided."
The actors in attendance were Girl's Day's Hyeri, Park Bo Gum, Go Kyung Pyo, Ryoo Hye Young, Sung Dong Il, Lee Il Hwa, Ryu Joon Yeol, Ahn Jae Hong, Lee Dong Hwi and Choi Sung Won.
The drama will be about the several families that live on the same street, and will surely be full of '80s references, snappy dialogue, and 'satoori' (country-side accents) like 'Reply 1997' and 'Reply 1994'!
