
South Korea’s leading chicken franchise Mexicana Chicken has selected singer Hwa Sa as its new exclusive brand model.
The appointment aligns with the company’s 2026 slogan, “Re Born Mexicana,” signaling a major brand refresh aimed at combining its long standing familiarity with a more stylish and dynamic image.
A representative from Mexicana stated that Hwa Sa’s confident and trend setting persona closely matches the brand’s vision for transformation and innovation. Through this partnership, the company aims to connect more strongly with younger consumers, particularly the MZ generation.
Known as a “mukbang icon,” Hwa Sa has consistently influenced food trends, making her a natural fit for the brand. Her collaboration with Mexicana is expected to further highlight the franchise’s signature flavors and quality in a more engaging way.
Hwa Sa will kick off her activities with a new commercial shoot and participate in various online and offline marketing campaigns. Mexicana Chicken also plans to launch unique events and promotions targeting younger audiences.
Her addition is anticipated to play a key role in revitalizing the brand’s image, blending tradition with a fresh, modern appeal while bringing renewed energy to the market.
