INFINITE's Sunggyu responded to the rumors surrounding his recent release, "Kontrol," where netizens and fans have suggested that the official MV is about the Sewol Ferry incident.�

At the recent showcase for his solo comeback, Sunggyu explained, "It's not what we had intended. We just thought that the story could also be about families and friends. I decided to make the MV about finding a lost sister, but it's not that we had intended to relate it to the [Sewol Ferry incident]."�
Meanwhile, once the official MV for "Kontrol" was released, speculation arose that the MV had elements that were related to the Sewol Ferry incident (yellow ribbon, fishbowl, Jindo inn). Some netizens have also hypothesized that the MV was made in memory of the incident.�
