Jiyoung's first Japanese movie 'Assassination Classroom' claims number one spot in Japan's box office!

As you can see on our sister site tokyohive, 'Assassination Classroom,' which premiered on March 21, has surpassed�'Doraemon: Nobita's Space Heroes' and has taken the number one spot in the box office. Over this past weekend on March 21 and 22, around 359,000 people viewed the movie for its premiere.�

As shocking as it sounds that anything could beat Doraemon, 'Assassination Classroom' actually sounds pretty awesome. Based on the manga of the same title, the movie follows the story of a powerful, octopus-like teacher Koro-sensei teaching a class how to kill. He assigns them the task of assassinating him lest he destroys the earth. Jiyoung plays the role of the sexy yet fierce Irina Jelevac, a professional hitman hired to assassinate Koro-sensei herself.�
