Cafe owner, Mr. Sohn allegedly attacked female high school students who applied for part-time jobs at his cafe. During their interviews, he would drug them by offering them a drink containing sleeping pills. Once they fell unconscious, he would either take his victims to a nearby motel, his residence, or keep them at the cafe and rape them repeatedly.
Although the victims felt strange when they awoke, they would not be able to remember the sexual assault or would perceive it to be a dream. It was only until one female student realized what happened and reported it to the police that Mr. Sohn was caught. Police were able to find the sleeping pill chemicals in the victim's hair. After further investigation, they also confirmed that Mr. Sohn had sexually assaulted a total of 16 high school students in the past two years using the same method.
