It was revealed that Wonder Girls member Yenny would be helping Sunmi with her new album set to be released next year.
A rep from JYP Entertainment stated to media outlet TV Daily on December 3, "We are currently working on Sunmi's album and Yenny's participation in composing is one plan."

Yenny had also updated her fancafe with, "I only have to film for 'Basketball' two more times. I am thinking of earnestly focusing on making songs . . . I worked on eight to ten songs this year and they are songs that will someday go out into the world. One of my songs is going to be added to Sunmi's pending album."
