Roy Kim to leave for the United States on the 25th

Roy Kim will be taking a temporary hiatus from the music scene to pursue his studies in the states.

A representative from his agency said, "Roy Kim will depart on the 25th. Georgetown University did not allow him to extend his temporary leave of absence. He had no choice but to register for one semester which will begin in September."

Roy took a break from school to participate in 'Superstar K4' last year and to focus on his music career. He had requested to prolong his leave of absence last month, but unfortunately had no choice but to go back to school.

He will also be dropping from his position on MBC FM4U's radio program 'Roy Kim and Jung Joon Young's Best Friend.' However, a representative also added that he will continue to work on music while in school.
