With 2NE1 leader CL's first solo single coming up, CEO Yang Hyun Suk offered a word of advice: "Don't worry about ranking and just enjoy it to the fullest".
CEO Yang Hyun Suk advised CL, 'It doesn't matter even if you get last place, just enjoy it however way you want,' after seeing her pull all-nighters preparing for her solo debut," said reps over at the agency.
It's said that CEO Yang told CL, "Don't worry about ranking," not because he doesn't have confidence in her, but because he knows fully well that rather than having a brief moment of spotlight up at #1 on music charts, it's more important that she fully showcases her individuality and unique style before the public.
Making her debut at the end of this month, CL will be going head to head with established solo artists like Lee Hyori, Seo In Young, as well as Ivy, who is also planning for a comeback. So fans have a lot to look forward to, especially to see how CL stands out among these veterans.
