Look out world, because Psy has secured his 4th Guinness Record!
The MV for "Gentleman" snagged its first Guinness Record by becoming the video with the highest number of views in 24 hours. Justin Bieber had 10,600,000 views on "Beauty and the Beat" as the previous record holder, but Psy beat him with over triple the amount at 38,409,306 views.
The Guinness World Records said, "Psy proved he wasn't a one-hit wonder with 'Gentleman'. The MV for 'Gentleman' has been chosen as the video with the most views in 24 hours. Its success is faster than 'Gangnam Style'. 'Gangnam Style' reached 100 million in 2 months, but 'Gentleman' reached it in 4 days."
Psy's 3 previous Guinness Records are all with his hit 'Gangnam Style'. Through 'Gangnam Style', he recorded 'Most Watched Video Online', 'Most 'Likes' on a YouTube Video', and 'First Video to Reach 1 Billion Views on YouTube'. Currently, "Gentleman" has over 250 million views.
