Actor Kim Jong Hyun stopped a thief from stealing a woman's purse off-screen.
On April 8th, Kim Jong Hyun chased after a person who stole a woman's bag in Seoul. According to reports, he heard a woman screaming, "Give back my purse," and he ran over to help. Though he did safely retrieve the bag for the woman, the thief unfortunately escaped. The incident was caught on film by a nearby witness who uploaded it online.
A staff member at the heroic star's agency stated, "We just received a call from Kim Jong Hyun and heard what happened. At first we were worried that he might be hurt, but luckily he did not receive any injuries."
In regards to what happened, they said, "Kim Jong Hyun was closing up his cafe when he heard someone scream, 'My bag! My bag!' and so he turned around and ran over. Although he was able to get the bag back, he could not catch the perpetrator. Jong Hyun is quite sad about that."
